Salaries-- Different fields of law?

I am taking a year off between college and law school right now.... I have been working in Real estate and really love it. My dad and grandpa are litigators, my uncle went to law school too, but is working in corporate law.

I love negotiating, and I love real estate. I also think I want to be in a field where I am not getting paid by the hour. I would eventually like to be paid based on production, I know that is more pressure, but i like it more.

What it comes down to is this: I really do not know what I want to focus on in law school. I think I would be a pretty good litigator, but also am very interested in business/real estate law.

Secondly, I am not going to choose a focus based on money, but I am interested in what fields of law pay what.... I really have no idea of these things, if someone does, that would be great if you could fill me in. Or if someone could direct me to some sites that talk about the different fields of law, what you need to focus on to get there, and what the salaries are??

Thanks to anyone that has any info
