salary for investment banking?

I'm wanting to know the starting salary for right after graduating students in investment banking. Also, what interns would be helpful to get into while in college?

really?

....

realllly?

Figures I got from one of my friends who works at goldman sachs

-$80,000 plus bonuses
-2 Virgins
-All Expenses paid at a 5 star hotel for you to play with the virgins
-1 chevrolet
-A summer vacation tickets to bahamas with a free inflatable dildo if you forfeited the trip the summer before.
- A romp with your boss's wife
- A free pass to disney land to take your boss's kids while spanking his wife

That is the latest figures. I would seriously advise everyone to go into IB. I heard Merrill Lynch had better benefits. not sure

2 virgins? are you counting the IBanker as one of the virgins?

Now I am seriously considering this career option...

Only a 5 Star Hotel?????

I heard Lehman would get you into the 7 Star one in Dubai...

go easy on the poor guy/gal. i'd bet that the first thing most people seem to hear about investment banking is the compensation. then you consider questions like "what is investment banking?" or "is to worth working 100 hours a week?"...etc.

the same kind of thing happens with college admissions. so many high school seniors/juniors on CC (and some ambitious sophomores and freshmen) are all caught up in prestige when they first begin the college search (it's like the Ivy or death mentality). And then you begin to wonder "is paying 30-40k per year worth it?" or "where would I be happier?"

They skimped on your friend. A chevrolet? Get out of here. I'd take nothing less than a beamer.

I feel really guilty since the purpose of discussion forums is to get information. Well I don't know the exact amonut but it is around $80,000-120,000 with bonuses of $40,000 to 60,0000. Don't quote me though

1 Million Dollars.
