Same essay for both CAS (Economics) and AEM?

My reasons for wanting to go into both these programs are essentially the same, with almost no difference... Could someone please take a lot a my essay and tell me what they think?

No Cornell RD'ers please.

they are different

I’m a junior but I can edit it for you

You’re not a junior.

To answer your question though, I think you have a good shot at Cornell, a better one than I do anyways.

Thanks but I am a junior. I have some estimates on that thread.

See this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/summer-programs/839287-ap-microecon-over-summer.html

It’s really obvious from just a cursory glance of your stats page that you’re a senior man…

I’m not sure why you made that thread, to trick people into thinking you were a junior?

B/c im not trying to trick people…
The only things I estimated were my senior AP classes my SAT I (which I got from my PSAT) and my summer between junior and senior year (which I’m assuming I’ll be spending at Cornell CS cuz I am applying to it this year)

Just do it brah

I just submitted mine, and I used literally the same essay (with the name of the school/major replaced) in both.

They’re most likely not even going to look at your secondary essay… think about all the applications they have to go through.

lol @ cookiemonster’s “AP Multivariable Calc”

why?? 10char

There is no such thing as AP multivariable calc.

AP Calc BC is single variable calc with sequences and series.

So obviously im a junior…

AEM and Economics are COMPLETELY different.

On the Cornell website it says that the colleges have the right to read both essays. From what I understand the primary school usually reads both. It will be very unimpressive if you write about the same thing unless the majors are almost identical.

wouldn’t it be self plagiarism?
