Cornell Supplement:
College of Engineering: Engineers turn ideas (technical, scientific, mathematical) into reality. Tell us about your interest in engineering or an engineering idea you have. Explain how Cornell Engineering can help you further explore this interest or idea.

Common App short answer:
In the space provided below, please briefly elaborate (150 words or fewer) on one of your activities (extracurricular, personal activities, or work experience).

Does it look bad if I mention the same EC (an engineering internship) in both essays?

If I only mention it briefly in the first one, can I go in-depth in the second?

Note: I could also write about being on a debate team for the short answer one, but I think it might get cliche. My third essay is about something completely different so I hope it won't look to repetitive.
