Sample Exams

I'm considering transferring to stanford as a junior. I'm majoring in chem E +Math. Where can i find sample exams for Calc 1&2, chem 1&2 and physics mechanics?

BUMP---ANYONE? I really need these.

For starters, you'll need to refer to the courses by the stanford number, or people won't have a clue. For example, by math one, do you mean the first course in the 50s series (linear algebra) or the 20s. (The intro series assume different levels of background knowledge). I don't think that's an issue for chem (though there is an accelerated intro series).

Basically, anyone currently taking the course could access a sample exam from Coursework (an online program) if the instructor had posted these.
Other students can't access this info. You'll probably need to email instructors directly and ask for these. You can go to axess.stanford.edu and log in as a guest (look toward the left of the webpage) to find out who is teaching a course. Alternatively, try the course catalogue for instructor names.

Hope that helps

calc 1 is predominantly differential calculus, calc 2 deals mostly with integrals, sequences and series. I dont think emailing the professors will get me very far at all lol. Best place to ask is here. Students from upenn and duke forums have already sent me these exams. I'll try signing in as a guest to see if i can access these.

P.S- my email is caa5042@psu.edu

anyone who has these- please send them to this address.Thanks.

Bump--------------

I don't mean to sound harsh, but you have no way of knowing whether emailing the profs will get you anywhere until you try. If you want to transfer to Stanford, you've got to be just a tad bit more tenacious and less risk-averse!

sample exams, i think there is a few here for the 50s series in math:

math51.stanford.edu
math52....
math53...

for chem?

chem33.stanford.edu

i dunno, the tests for physics arent available online, you have to be a stnaford student and log into coursework

dude- you ROCK
works for all the math courses. Just type in math41.stanford.edu and it takes you to the math 41 web page. Unfortunately i cant access any of the chem ones-asks for ID. If anyone has the chem and physics tests saved on your computers just let me know.
