@WeTurnRed: You were accepted for Summer 2017 since your SAT Math score is below 550.

Summer 2017 Admitted First-Time Freshmen
Congratulations on your admission to San Diego State University! You are required to enroll in the Freshmen Academic Success Track (FAST) program this summer in order to attend SDSU in the fall 2017 semester.

Follow the Steps to Enroll
To accept your offer of admission and reserve your place for the FAST program, you must complete the seven Steps to Enroll. Read through each step listed on the right.

Parents of Admitted Students
Be sure to review the Steps to Enroll with your student in order to get the most out of the information. Get more information for future Aztec parents.

Why do I need to participate in SDSU’s FAST program?
All California resident first-time freshmen admitted to San Diego State University who have remediation needs in English or mathematics will be required to enroll in the Freshman Academic Success Track (FAST) program in summer 2017 prior to enrollment in fall 2017. The FAST program is mandatory. All students attending a CSU who need remediation are required to participate in Early Start or a summer program such as FAST to better prepare them in English and math.
You have remediation needs in English if you did not score 500 or higher on the critical reading section of the SAT, or 22 or higher on the English section of the ACT. You have remediation needs in math if you did not score 550 or higher on the math section of the SAT, or 23 or higher on the math section of the ACT. You must attend the FAST program in order to enroll at SDSU in the fall 2017 semester.

Also Nursing still pending. Nursing always hears last! Keep your fingers crossed for tomorrow, as the last 2 years, Nursing majors were notified Thurs (acceptances) and the following (rejections).

@akcvms1 what are your stats? i applied as poli sci and still haven’t heard back…

@WeTurnRed: No it should not take you longer to graduate if you place into Calc 1 (Math 150) and even if you do not start in Calc 1 Fall Semester, you can still be on track by taking a course or two over the summers.

Here is the My Map link for all majors. 2017 is not listed yet, but the 4 year plan for ME should be same. This gives you an idea of which courses you need to take to keep on track for a 4 year graduation.
