SAN DIEGO STATE 2021 RESULTS THREAD

Weber Honors College acceptance for my D today.

@Nurse2017 so do you think your friend who went in as a nursing major didn’t get in since her admission date didn’t change?? My date changed and I applied for nursing and I’m a little anxious

@sdsunursing I guess my parents called SDSU and this means the nursing department is reviewing our application. I have no idea if your status date didn’t change means you didn’t get accepted or not. I think we made it to the next round of review because why would they re evaluate?

@Nurse2017 Thanks for all your information! The wait it killing me!!

mine changed to february 14th too WE’RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER

I spoke to the nursing department. They do not review freshman applications. They told me that admissions makes the decisions for freshman applications.

Anyone OOS hear from Weber Honors?? Status unchanged here and no email. I’m guessing they just released in state.

In state with admission status still pending. Also applied to Weber Honors but haven’t heard anything yet…

@umbrella45 is that your UW GPA? Thanks!

@pozvibes received a Webers Honors College acceptance e-mail at 10:57 am!!!

In State

@lkg4answers Same! Accepted Weber - 12:57 Central. OOS
Congrats!!

My son got accepted to Webster Honor College, he received a letter yesterday.
He was surprised that he got in.

CSU GPA:3.9
ACT:28
Major:Political Science
He had only one AP class.

His GPA and ACT are not great for the honor program, but I think he just fit the profile that they were looking for,
job experience(he work with his hands), experience in a foreign country, speaks three different languages(was born and raised in United States)etc.

Also he thinks his essays were good.(wrote about his experience in a foreign country, and an interesting conversation he had with a person he met at work.

I got into the Weber Honors college today! (2/17)

Son was accepted into Weber today. We were notified via mail and email. We are OOS in Colorado.

Wow, so things are starting to roll out, or is it just honors college

@Subrubialife: Only Honors college right now. Another poster stated that SDSU got over 83,000 applications and decisions would be coming out at the beginning of March. Hopefully for the applicants, it will be sooner. Last year, the next wave of decisions started coming out around Feb 20th.

@hoppy1 My stats are similar to your son’s. 3.9 CSU/UC gpa, 30 ACT. I think that’s all SDSU looks for. I was accepted back in December and asked to apply to Weber’s Honors College, so I did. I received a letter in the mail a couple days ago saying I was accepted. I found out today I got into SLO, so I’m probably not going to SDSU, but I felt flattered they thought I was worth having in their honors program.

I’ll add that we have been so impressed with every piece of communication we have received from SDSU since being accepted in December. Everything has focused on welcoming and making the applicant feel included in the Aztec family. It has a personal touch and shows the spirit, mission and personality of SDSU. Communication from CSULB pales in comparison.

Good luck to those who are still awaiting good news.

D received acceptance letter to Weber Honors on 2/17
Accepted Undeclared in December
CSU GPA 4.0

Also accepted at Cal Poly SLO.
Between SDSU and CPSLO her current preference is SDSU.
Awaiting results from her #1 choice UCSB.

I didn’t see a separate thread for it, so I thought I might as well post it here, accepted into the Webers Honors College via email yesterday.
