Does anyone know when the next wave of acceptances come out?
@sdsuluvr last year they came out around January 21st so hopefully soon for those who are still waiting
My daughter had one correction on her transcript. The office of admissions said they were most likely not sending any more acceptances until March. I asked about previous years and rolling out acceptances in waves, and they said “no, not this year”…so we shall see…they may actually send some out…or they may truly wait until March.
My son received an email inviting him to apply for the Speer Aerospace Engineering Scholarship. Does that indicate that he will be admitted when the next batch of decisions are released?
@Skiripper If they are asking him to apply for a scholarship, I would take it as a sign that they want to admit him. There is the possibility that all engineering applicants were sent it but I guess he’s on their radar so thats a good thing.
I recently emailed admissions about something they wanted clarification on with my transcript and they replied two days ago. The last sentence was “Please check your webportal every couple of days for updates to your admission status.” Could this be a sign that the next batch of admission decisions are soon?
@Skiripper @mash97 I was also curious as to if these emails meant something whether it was that you’ll be admitted or that you’re a good candidate for the scholarship. I’ve already been admitted but I received an email saying I was eligible to apply for a real estate scholarship that was for full in state tuition, fees, and books. I’m OOS and I know the scholarships are competitive but I’m wondering if that could be a good sign. I also think it is a good sign of you got one and are waiting to hear back still. Has anyone else received similar emails?
Has anybody heard anything about their next wave of decisions?
@sdsuluvr, Explore SDSU Open House page is now live.
When do the next wave of applications come out?

@acause - The Merit scholarship is only open to local graduating seniors with a 4.0 (weighted??) gpa and an SAT reasoning and math score of 1400 or above (ACT- 32). And, congrats on your acceptances!
Has anyone been in contact with admissions to see if they are going to release another batch of decisions? I’ve been looking around the other threads and it seems that most CSUs have released the majority of decisions. The wait just feels so long
@mash97: Last year the 2nd round of acceptances came around Feb 26, so just be patient. There will be more coming.
My files weren’t in until mid-January, partially due to the fact that I’m an international student, so I’m not really expecting a decision soon. I’m just curious to see the stats of those accepted to same/similar majors. But Feb 26 is soon, so thank you for that information!
Do decisions come out next week?
Any CS major heard back yet?
I’m a CS Major and about 3 weeks ago they left a voicemail saying I got accepted but then left another saying there was misinformation and I would be informed in March. Was pretty disappointed but one of their admission workers has been emailing me to apply for a specific scholarship so I’m thinking maybe I was accepted but they can’t tell me till March.
