<p>I was recently accepted into SDSU and I was wondering how the computer science and pre med programs are. Help?</p>
<p>My younger son is a freshman in the CS program and he really likes the two professors he had for 1st semester. The program is not as large as some schools, so he is finding he has more one on one contact with his professors. He also got to skip Calculus 1 and 2 due to his AP scores for AP Calc AB/BC. He went directly into Discrete Math, so he is a year ahead. Since he has only finished his 1st semester, time will tell, but so far so good.</p>
<p>Regarding Pre-Med program: It will depend alot upon what’s is major? If Biology, I know it is very competitive and the first required class is Chem 200, which is the “weed out” class so very tough. Sorry I cannot be any more help. Good Luck and SDSU is a great school.</p>
