Im having trouble deciding which college to go to. I want to have a great time and also get a good education. I plan to major in business administration so which college would be the better choice?

I had to make the same decision. I have tons of friends going to UC Riverside next year and it does have that UC label, but I choose to go to SDSU for several reasons. First off, SDSU has a great business program and people who graduate from these Universities generally end up the same (business is all about who you are and not what degree you have in the long run.) The difference between the two schools is the connections. SDSU has better connections, which is why it is considered a better business school than UC Riverside. Another major difference between the two schools is a few thousand dollars in tuition. Not to sound cocky or anything, but this was not an issue or deciding factor for me. That does not mean that other people do not face this issue though. Besides, I am sure you can find other unique ways to spend the difference of the cost while in college. On the more imprudent side of things, why would anyone honestly want to go to Riverside? Heat, desert, trailer homes, etc. Not that I have anything against the people which reside in that place east of Los Angeles, but I come from a unique culture and I would rather spend my time in a more comfortable environment closer to that which I have grown up in. Anyways, I hope what I have said is helpful to you and I hope you make a good decision. Good Luck!

i visited both and got into both, and I chose sdsu because better business. ucr is considered a bottom dweller uc, even though im sure you get a great education there. sdsu is a great location, great weather. one thing i did not like about ucr is the smog is worse then LA, and i cant stand smog personally. but i have heard many great things at ucr so its up to you.
