Where do we pay the housing deposit?
Papa Smurf 613 he needs to get it sent tomorrow as it has to be postmarked on 5/1/18. Also if there are any college classes he has taken in High School then those transcripts also need to be sent by 5/1/18. Then all of them again by 7/15 with final results.
@cocoonutty the sdsu portal at very bottom is a link for housing contract. We paid the $375 last night and I got confirmation email that payment was received. However on D’s portal it shows a status of Incomplete - Missing Payment for housing. Anyone else seeing this?
Having an issue… To submit my housing deposit I need to have an SDSUid which I do not have. I read that it comes about 48 hours after the SIR is submitted. I just submitted my SIR a few hours ago. This means I will not have an SDSUid in time to submit the housing deposit. Anyone have any idea as to what I should do?
@Coconutty it only took 24 hrs when we did it and housing deadline is may 4th for that reason.
Does anyone still have the red X for transcript? Parchment sent them on 4/20
@crystallight It takes them a couple weeks to process. Did you get a tracking number? You can always call and check to see if the received it
Ok i just called and the recording said that as long as it postmarked by may 1 its fine. parchment emailed and said it was received by state on 4/23 so she should be good. I just hate that X!!
@Banker1 I paid the $400 fee but in status details it says: “intent to enroll fee paid and documents not COMPLETE”. Is that normal?
My daughters says that too. Im assuming its because transcripts aren’t reviewed yet. I clicked on “intent to enroll” on the left and it goes over the documents.
There are still red X’s next to “advanced placement” and the two colleges I took classes at under initial college transcripts section. I sent them in yesterday does anyone know how long it takes to clear?
If it states documents not complete it means they havent received yet or posted that they received a document requested such as college transcripts, 7th semester transcripts or AP scores. Once they receive and mark it received the comment will change.
Those took 2 or 3 days to clear on my D’s portal.
@SmartGurl17 we didn’t get that message. It showed “intent to enroll fee deferred by financial aid and documents complete” right away.
Is it possible to change ur major? (Not nursing btw)
@SmartGurl17: Yes you can change your major. Talk to an academic advisor at orientation so you can plan out your schedule. Remember most majors are Pre-majors meaning you need to complete the pre-req courses with a certain GPA (varies by major) before you can declare that major. What major do you want to switch into?
@Gumbymom I’m not completely sure as I don’t want a tough experience but I was thinking of other science major cuz a bio major tour guide told me that u gotta take weird courses like plant life, ecology, etc.
Anyone seeing the freshman orientation dates yet? I thought they were supposed to announce them yesterday
@Smartgurl17: There are different concentrations under the Biology major so you should be able to select a track with classes that will interest you. Here is a list of the Biology concentrations and also check my map which shows you a 4 year plan for each concentration. What do you want to study as a Biology major??
@texcalmom I had heard the announcement was coming 5/10 at 10am pacific.
