Well here is my deal. The first three years of my high school I was a pretty lazy student, and I did not really realize the importance of school. I finally did my Senior year. And the school I would absolutely love to get into would be San Francisco State University. My total gpa as of now is a 2.57, but my academic now is 2.34. If i do well this year and get A's and B's, my academic gpa will be at least a 2.54 or something. My SAT's weren't too hot, I got a 1470(New SAT), and I am planning on retaking them for a higher score. If it helps I am involved in the Red Cross club at my school. I was hoping maybe if they see how much I have improved my senior year they could say, "hey this guy finally got it." But I am not sure if I even have a sliver of a chance. I meet all the requirements for classes, and won't have any D's when my senior year is over because I am retaking the D classes. So I will be bare minimum elligible to be accepted. The question of the day is, do I have a shot, and if so what can I do to increase my chances?

I'm not sure, but you have to remember csu's don't really look at each applicant, they accept based mostly on statistics
