I haven’t! Does anyone know when they are releasing decisions?
I haven’t either. I heard decisions start from February, but my portal still says “Decision Pending.” Cal States decisions are usually hard to predict because they having a rolling admissions - they provisionally admit students first, then go to locals, and then non-locals/OOS.

Hey All. I just got my admission notification yesterday. I got in.
Major: Software Engineering.
SAT: 1400 (660 R/W, 740 M)
TOEFL: 105/120
GPA: 4 “technically”
International student from India. HS grades are in percantages. My percentages translate to 4 GPA but there isn’t a official calculation guide (other than college board which isn’t legit). Provisional ofcourse. I am most likely attending this university. All the best for y’all.
@taarush Congratulations on your acceptance!
Did anyone else get this message a few days ago? I’m scared, does imply I have not YET received admission or is it a sign I’m going to be rejected. Portal still shows “Decision Pending”:
Greetings!
Although you have not been offered admission to San Jose State University, students planning to attend ANY California State University (CSU) are required to complete the Entry Level Mathematics (ELM) and English Placement Test (EPT) unless exempt. The registration deadlines for the next administration of these tests at SJSU are below.
To determine if you are exempt from one or both of these exams, please review the exemption categories at http://testing.sjsu.edu/eptelm/eptelmexempt
The registration deadline for the next ELM and EPT test date is:
Register for the exam(s) online: http://testing.sjsu.edu/eptelm/eptelmreg
Please take these exams seriously. The score you earn on the ELM and EPT exams could cause you to be placed in mandatory developmental courses during your first year at any CSU. Since this can impact the length of time it will take you to earn your degree, use the following resources to prepare for your exams:
ELM:csumathsuccess.org/mshome
EPT: csuenglishsuccess.org/eshome
For those applicants living outside of the Bay Area:
If you live outside of the Bay Area, but still reside in California, you can choose to take the ELM and EPT exams closer to home, by contacting the Testing Office at the CSU campus closest to you. To register: http://testing.sjsu.edu/eptelm/eptelmreg
For International & Out-of-State applicants:
If you live outside of California or in another country you can arrange to take the ELM/EPT exams closer to home. For more information visit http://testing.sjsu.edu/eptelm/eptelmreg and scroll down to “Out-of-State”. There is an additional fee of approximately $75 for testing outside the state of California.
It is important to take these exams as soon as possible. If you wait to take the exam later in the spring, you might find that your local test site is not available (or that the test date conflicts with other events that are part of your senior year of high school - like senior trips, dances, and graduation festivities).
If you are exempt or have already signed up for or have taken the ELM and EPT exams, then you can disregard this reminder.
Sincerely,
Enrollment Services
yes! I got that message as well.
It means nothing other than you need to fulfill the ELM/EPT requirement either by the options listed (exemptions) or you have to sit for the exam(s). All CSU’s require this.
Most of you will start receiving your admission results on February 25th, 2017, and it will be rolling from there. We do give early acceptances to location priority and “slam-dunk” applicants. Yes, acceptances have been sent out already, but not very many.

Rule of thumb is no D’s or F’s Senior year. I would contact SJSU and see what kind of options you have to maintain your acceptance.
Accepted!
