We’re visiting tomorrow. Anyone have any tips on what to be sure and see?
I would say to look at housing. I went on a housing tour a couple days ago and the tour guide said to make sure to fill out the applications early because they’d be out in a few days. They’re supposed to be realeased soon, if not already. The way she said it made it seem as if they’d be out in like 2-3 days from the time I went.

@jesse’sgirl
along with housing, I would suggest the library and surrounding areas to see what it’s like.
can someone help me with this. OOS/International/US citizen. portal says under graduate degree at the program level. Provisionally admitted. daughter applied for CS. nOt sure what is this mean.
My son was accepted back on 2-14-17 for Business Administration we live in Orange County, Ca. he is waiting on some other colleges locally Cal State fullerton and Cal Poly Pomona for Business. We can’t make the 4-8 open house but we are flying in from O.C and are setup for a tour of the campus on 4-18 and going to call housing for a tour that same day. Are flight arrives on 4-18 at 12:30 pm how far is the college from SJ airport will we have enough time to make the 3:00 pm tour than the housing tour at 4 pm?
I also noticed the tour on 4-18 is not off the list of dates but we already signed up for it and received a confirmation email. I use to live in Fremont back in the 70’s nice area moved to Orange County, Ca. back in 1977 so my son will have a open mind about San Jose University. He was also accepted to San Francisco University for Business as well but I heard good things about the Lucas School of Business.
thoughts?
FYI the housing application is open.
@manasvini234: Does it show her major CS?
All applicants are provisionally admitted and need to pass all Senior year courses with a C or higher to keep their acceptance.
I would call admissions if you have questions regarding her status and her major.

@laggywifi I am currently a Statistics major at SJSU. If you need any questions, comments, or concerns about the program please contact me.
Anyone else may ask me for any kind of information about San Jose State too. Again, congrats to all of you!
what does it mean in your admission status clear admit/ verified and after that how long it takes to get accepted because I get priority registration.
@latinacutie7 You should be accepted and enrolled once you go through orientation.

Rejected. Appl Withdrawal Not Accommodated
Compsci, In State
Weighted 4.0
ACT 33
Great EC’s
Taking APCS and AP Test this year, took normal compsci last year because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do it yet.
I really thought I would get in easily, didn’t think the major was impacted that much.
Appl Withdrawal Not Accommodated : “Due to enrollment restrictions and space availability, the application has been withdrawn and will not be reconsidered.”
Does that mean that my application was not even considered, or did it just not match up to other applicants enough to even be considered? I know my GPA wasn’t the best but I thought the 33 would be enough to get me in.
Now I don’t even know if I can get into Irvine, guess i’ll be heading to BCC.
@SKL: you look competitive for UCI so do not give up until you have all decisions in hand. This year has been ultra competitive for CS majors. Best of luck.
