***san jose state 2022 admissions thread***

@heyitstranafer Yeah, it’s really unfair and frustrating! I’m going to appeal!

@pekkla I called a few hours ago and they said that I need to appeal because I didn’t meet an A-G requirement but it was probably a course name that confused them. I also failed to mark my senior courses as “In progress”. It was so unclear in the directions for inputting grades. Common App should be also an option for applying to CSUs. It was easier to use Common App then it was to use Cal State Apply. i used Common App for Purdue and they didn’t have an issue with my A-G courses and I was accepted. And yes, the CSU app should be more flexible! This is really frustrating and annoying. I’m going to appeal. Thanks for the help!

I’m going to appeal and send in my progress report from this semester and my official transcript from last semester. This is such an annoying process. :frowning:

@knowledgeispower18 Yeah, I’m not gonna let it go. I’m going to send in a letter of appeal as well as my official transcript from last semester and in progress transcript from this semester. This is really annoying! And thanks!!

my all friends that applied SJSU got accepted today, except me. FEEL VERY BAD rn
my major is industrial design, then I just checked the transfer Impaction Results. ID needs gpa 3.7, and I only get 3.45. I think I won’t get in sjsu

I just go accepted !!!

CSU GPA: 3.15
Major: Communicative sciences and Disorders
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Does anyone know what order they send the decisions(by major alphebetical etc.)

Why are they releasing transfers first and not undergraduate. Usually transfer acceptances come out a couple weeks after undergrad. Seems as if its backwards this year.

• Result: Accepted as transfer student as part of the ADT(Associates Degree for Transfer) program
• CSU GPA: 3.02
• List of Honors: Nah
• SAT and/or ACT: None im a transfer from a CC
• Region:San Diego
• State:CA
• Additional information: Originally went to sdsu bombed my gpa there because of greek life, and had to go back to Community to try transferring out again somewhere else
Major:Kinesiology Rehabilitation Science
Note:Norcal state schools aren’t that picky. If you are worried as a transfer student, keep your head up.

@msingh9001 I would check your application status on your MySJSU portal. I applied as a freshman undergraduate and received my decision on March 1st. My application was sadly withdrawn but I’m going to appeal.

@heyyo499 my DD also applied for industrial design major and I’m hopping and praying that SJSU is just late on announcing acceptance for our major. Need to learn to be patient, especially in March, some schools will even have decisions in April.

@Rollercoasterkid2000 It’s still decision pending but I got an email saying to check my portal regularly.

@msingh9001 oh, I have the same situation with u. It’s meant that we still have the chance to get in?

@jjkmom I just saw the post that u sent a few days ago, I think your D can admit coz her grade looks good. I also hope that this is just a late release of information in our major.

@heyyo499 Yea we still have a chance. Apparently SAT scores were being processed incorrectly which lead to a delay in SJSU checking applications. They will come out soon.

I’m a transfer student, still decision pending. When should I expect it to change? I need a decision ASAP

@alg1415 me2, I am still waiting for the result, no matter is good or not. I can accept it. And do u mind to tell ur major or grades?

anybody get accepted today?

same thing happened to my daughter with CSU Fresno… however using the exact same info was accepted to two other CSU’s one local / one non. She is appealing as well. Good Luck @Rollercoasterkid2000

does anyone have any idea when we’ll start hearing for undergrad?? waiting is getting tiring :-S
