<p>Both are highly ranked for EE in US News & World Report, at least in their undergraduate depts:</p>

<p>They're very different in campus "feel", if that matters to you. SJSU is mainly a commuter school, with almost 30,000 undergraduates. Santa Clara is much smaller, with around 5000 undergrads. I'm not sure of the number of masters students, but it's easy to look up on their websites. Both schools have very good ties to Silicon Valley and place a lot of their graduates directly into local companies.</p>

<p>If money is no object, then yes, you can select either of the 2. Santa Clara might be a little more difficult to get into since it's more selective than SJSU.</p>
