Santa Barbara Community College

Hello :) I'm currently a high school senior with a 3.5 gpa, My SAT score is very low (1350) and my ACT score is average (20). However I am retaking both before December! I don't have an outstanding resume with various clubs, activities, etc., but I do have about 100 hours of community service because i volunteer every summer in a facility. Also, I've done 3 years of soccer (not school) it's a league in my city. And this year I'm in cross country.

So my dream is to be accepted in UCSB, but it's looking pretty hard :'(
I began to research SBCC, and it doesn't look that bad.. Although I really didn't want to go to a community, it seems like it's the only easy access i have for UCSB.

What do you think of SBCC?
Proffessors? Challenging? Hard to get classes? Estimated time to be able to transfer? Housing? Easy transfer to UCSB?

Thank you! :)

Forgot to mention! I’m an AP and Honors student, thus my low GPA :stuck_out_tongue:
And i’m in the cross country team in my school :)
