Santa Clara early admission 2020

To those that got deferred, may I know your stats? My son has a 3.7 unweighted GPA, SAT of 1820 and 27 ACT. He got deferred.

Deferred. I am by no means a narcissist but I am pretty surprised considering that I am really above the averages for the school, pretty epic ECs, and URM.

I am concerned that my actual common application and activities section were not as strong as they are now since SCU was the first application I sent. I am accepting the deferral but I have a bad taste in my mouth because of this.

Also, I am worried about applying to other colleges now that I got deferred from Santa Clara. I feel that I will get rejected from everywhere else now–especially my reaches.

Daughter in and very excited. Early admission is great idea. Did not do it for #1 what a big regret. She ended up where she was meant to be-like you will  Good luck to everyone.
