Santa Clara Early Admission?

Did anyone else apply to SCU, and if you did when we are supposed to hear back- and do you think it will include our financial aid awards?

I am not familiar w/ this school enough to tell, but I think you would get more response by ppsting this on CC's individual college board for this school.

Good luck.

My D applied early and I seem to remember being told mid or late Dec but that financial aid awards should not be considered as the fianl word until the spring.

From their site (BTW it's Early Action not admission)

Santa Clara's Early Action Program is non-binding. Applicants who wish to be considered for Early Action must submit their applications by November 1 of their senior year. An applicant may choose to apply early action to other institutions, as well.

Provided that all required application materials are submitted by the Early Action deadline, the Admission Committee will evaluate the application and notify the student of the decision by the end of December. Those students admitted under Santa Clara's Early Action Program are not required to withdraw other college applications and have until May 1 to confirm enrollment at Santa Clara. Early Action applicants who are competitive but not clearly admissible will be deferred so that they can be fairly evaluated with other students who apply via our Regular Decision Program.

thanks! so did she get the acceptance via mail or email or online? I am really hoping for some good scholarship...

Nothing yet! She applied novemebr 1st this year. I'm thinking it'll be the end of December.
