<p>Son who is a HS senior, has been accepted at SCU with Merit aid and Deferred at G tech. These were 2 EA....rest are all reaches.</p>
<p>We are going to visit both these colleges in Spring Break which starts Mar 18th. Son is really keen on both (SCU for location and connections in the Valley; GT for obvious reasons).</p>
<p>Anyone on this board can reflect on the SCU reputation for CE? Have you hired/met kids from there.</p>
<p>SCU has CS in the Math Dept and CE in the Engineering dept. Son is going to do CE. He has a natural aptitude for Math and Physics and has done some programming stints on his own. He has developed some iPhone apps recently and is getting good reviews.</p>
