Santa Clara University Rules

Hi,
I am really intrrsted in this school. My question is since it is a jesuit school how strict it is? For example is sex forbidden in dorms?(like u of Notre Dame) How is the school general scene when it comes to this aspects.

@LukeCh Just because this is a jesuit school does not mean they are going to force their values on you. From my experience at SCU dorm life is just like that at any other school you visit. You really can do whatever you want in the dorms as long as your roommate(s) are ok with it. Just like any other school if you are caught doing anything illegal in your room you might be kicked out of the dorms, and if you damage the building you will be forced to pay for the necessary repairs. besides damages the only other enforced rule is quiet hours during finals.

SCU has no official greek life but frats and parties still exist if that is something that interests you. We also have almost any club or group imaginable, so there are always lots of fun alternatives to going out. Something I think is unique to our dorms is each one hosts multiple events every week both on and off campus so that you can get to know other people who are also living in your building.
