When did you find out that Santa Claus doesn't exist?

I figured it out when i was 6.

I dont really remember believing he was actually real…

Yeah, I never believed in him either…

I remember my mom used to take me to those santas in the mall, and stores and stuff when I was around 3-4 and I remember noticing the were all really different from each other… And some wore masks…Which is kinda stupic actually, cuz even small kids can tell the difference between a real beard and a plastic MASK.

When I was really young (like 5 or 6) I grew suspicious. So I decided to “test the truth.” That Christmas I saved one of Santa’s tags from my presents and compared it to my mother’s handwriting. There were a few differences (such as the curved bottom to “t”) but all the nuances of her writing were there.

Then I realized that Santa Claus was a girl and really did know when I was sleeping, because he was my mother.

P.S. - In before “What? Santa’s not real?” jokes.

Around 4. My sister told me.

I still blame her for ruining my childhood. -.-

ETA:
Lol. I remember when I was 5, going to see a Santa somewhere. I then realized that it was my mom’s co-worker.
My parents had to do some quick talking there, because they assumed I still believed.

I can’t remember ever completely believing in Santa, although I’m sure I did at some point. I think around five or six I started questioning it. When I was around seven, I decided to test my theory by telling the santas I talked to (at the mall, etc.) one thing I wanted and my parents a different thing. I (shocking ending) ended up getting what I asked my parents for.

Around 5. Common sense and logic told me that it was improbable.

I think I read somewhere that it is possible for Santa Claus to exist.

Santa’s not real?!?!?!?!?!

T_____________________________________________t

I remember waking up in the middle of the night on Christmas Eve with my brother and our parents were gone. Not that they ever tried to make it un-obvious, I mean, they had the present gift-wrapped from the department store we always shopped at.
I think I was around five.

my parents always just left the gifts on the table to avoid the whole wrapping paper dilemma

Oh haha. My parents didn’t like the idea of deceiving their kids to believe in childish nonsense. They were of the opinion that happy childhood=learning lots of math before other kids.

I used to laugh really meanly at all the kids in kindergarten who believed lol. It was pretty fun.

i found the gifts in the car trunk

My parents never told me he was real to begin with. I didn’t care where they came from anyway I just wanted the toys
