Hey guys! I just wanted to get some clearer information on the whole Santa Fe to UF transfer option. I just can't seem to find the information I need.

I'll be heading up to Santa Fe for the fall term and be getting my AA with the intention of transferring to UF for a major in Economics (not business, but the other one). What's the general GPA requirement for Santa Fe transfers to UF in Economics? Is it possible to transfer before getting my AA?

[UF Connect | Academic Affairs | Santa Fe College | Gainesville, FL](http://www.sfcollege.edu/gators/)

That just explains the usual. “Must have a 2.0 GPA, etc.” I wanted to know what’s a realistic GPA to have in order to transfer.

No, cannot transfer be fore AA:
“Freshman/Sophomore Transfers (lower-division applicants with 13-59 transferrable credits)
Due to space limitations, UF is not currently accepting lower-division transfer students. Prospective transfer applicants are encouraged to remain at or to transfer to a Florida community college until the AA degree is completed.”

In my brief search I could see no other info about GPA…
but FSU says they want at least a 3.0 so UF realistically would be equal or higher

Liberal Arts Economics is listed here [Transfer Students | Academic Advising Center | University of Florida](http://advising.ufl.edu/prospective/transfer.html)

Economics: Complete ECO 2013, ECO 2023, MAC 2233 (or 2311), and STA 2023. Must have a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.5 in prerequisite classes listed.
