SAP Appeal Help

Not entirely sure where to start, so I’ll just jump in. I am currently on SAP suspension for failing to meet the completion rate and cumulative GPA requirements for semesters I took back in 2006-2007, and I was curious if there would be any point in trying to appeal the decision? When I attended back in 2006-2007, I quit in the middle of two semesters and my I’s turned to F’s over the years I wasn’t attending school. I suffer from severe social anxiety, and even though I am being treated currently, I had absolutely no idea what my problem was back in 2006. Since seeking treatment, however, I was able to complete my first semester back this fall with a term GPA of 3.30.

While my GPA should be up to par after Spring, it looks like it will be years before my completion rate is back up enough to meet financial aid requirements and I fear that I will not be able to pursue my degree to completion because of this. Is there any hope for an appeal or do I just have to grin and bear it at this point? Thanks for any help!

You need to talk to your current school about this. Every school has its own appeals process. They can advise you.

Since its been a long time, I would imagine they would at least consider your SAP appeal.
