Hello everyone. I just found out my grades for this semester (haven't posted through the registrar's office yet) and found out i passed all of my classes, except for one. At the beginning of the semester, I was at 18 credit hours but dropped down to 12 hours ( the two classes was dropped as excused). I received a "C" in 3 of my classes and a "F" in the other one. I am freaking out because I called my financial aid office and all they could told me was to wait until the reports are ran in January. They wouldn't give me any insight on what could happen except I would be on warning or suspension. This will be the first time I wouldn't be the 66% completion rate since I transferred there in January 2014 and even with the failing class my GPA will be above 2.0. I really don't know what to think at this point because my school didn't give me an answer. Could my financial aid be suspended at my first offense?? Thanks.

Just because the school can’t give you a calculation as to what your completion rate will be until January - they still should have given you the general policy. You should know if you will receive a suspension or a probationary period. I would request to speak to someone else in the FA office, and specifically word your question to determine if a suspension is given if you aren’t meeting SAP or if you get a semester probation.
