Assuming I get a 2250+ on the SAT and do well on my SAT IIs, what are my chances?
Thanks.

Oh and if it helps I am a white male, from the Midwest (definitely not international) and my parents fall into the middle class income bracket (mom is a teacher, dad is an engineer, so I would need some aid but not a full ride).

Oh, you're legacy there... Well, that definitely changes things. I'm sure it increases your chances, but i don't know too much about how much it affects (because personally, my dad never graduated from college and my mom got a bachelors).

um, it's hard to chance you without any test scores. But, assuming you score a 2250+...

UPenn- Vagelos Program Reach
Brown- PLME High Reach
Harvard Reach...accept (legacy helps a lot)
UMichigan (my "safety") accept
UC Berkeley Reach b/c you're out-of state....

Harvard - Low Reach, legacies really do help
UMichigan (my "safety") - Low Match
UC Berkeley - Low Reach
Washington University in St. Louis, Don't know much about Washing Univ.
Johns Hopkins - Low Reach

UPenn- Vagelos Program - high/reach, vagelos LSM or vagelos scholar?
Brown- PLME - higher reach. it's harder than harvard..
Harvard - crapshoot
UMichigan - not a safety, but a pretty good bet
UC Berkeley - match
Washington University in St. Louis - high match/low reach
Johns Hopkins - high match/low reach

this is based on what you have so far and your predicted SAT/PSAT scores. best of luck with everything!

Thanks TPhilip. Unfortunately, when I was talking to my mom today about colleges she said that my EFC is going to be really high at the Ivies because my parents are divorced and my father makes a lot of money. Sadly, he is unwilling to contribute, so it looks as though my Ivy dreams have had weed-killer sprayed upon them in epic quantities. Oh well, UMichigan Honors here I come... Oh, and they better dole out some serious merit scholarships lol.

UPenn- Vagelos Program: I don't know about the program, but I think you have a decent chance.

Brown- PLME: PLME only accepted 79 out of 1200ish last year. But probably a decent chance at Brown too.

Harvard-most likely in, but no one can tell for sure with that ridiculously low acceptance rate
UMichigan: accepted
UC Berkeley-accepted
Washington University in St. Louis-accepted, or waitlisted if they think you're too good for them ("Tufts syndrome" perhaps?) just be sure to demonstrate some interest
Johns Hopkins--match
