Is this book good for self-studying or is it better to study this book with a tutor?
I am at a level of 1450 SAT. Thanks.

At 1450, you should try a tutor unless you are used to self-study.
Most of the SAT books are adequate for both. I reccommend Princeton Review for now because it has an easy explanation, but Gruber’s is more comprehensive.

1450/1600?
If not, then you really need a tutor.
In any case, Gruber’s good for math only. Start with TPR and the CB practice tests. Sign up for CB’s online program, and take more tests.
Once you start scoring 2000+, I’d recommend you use Barron’s 2400.
