Sat: 1500-1600

Of those of you who applied ED to Brown this year (Class of 2010), post here if your SAT score was 1500-1600 (using the CR + M), and whether you got accepted or rejected.

I’m curious to see the % accepted/rejected based solely on this fact.

Well, this is for the class of '09, but it is a heck of a lot more accurate than a poll on CC:

<a href="http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Admission/gettoknowus/factsandfigures.html%5B/url%5D">http://www.brown.edu/Administration/Admission/gettoknowus/factsandfigures.html</a></p>

brown is probably the most forgiving in terms of SATs but also rejects more very high scorers than penn, cornell, columbia, and dartmouth. this probably tells you, you should do your best and then focus on other things...

Yeah. Since Brown probably weights the SATs least of all the Ivies, I think having a really high score, like 2300+, would be a big advantage. If you also have a really high GPA + class rank, combined with a great SAT score.. And everything else is decent, you'd have a good chance at getting in. (?)

i hadda 2300

deferred ED, 'jected reguar

Yikes.
What was your GPA/class rank?

I got a 1510 (2310) but I got in regular, not ED...

i hadda lotta stuff, but was outside the top 10%

i got into 8 out of 9 other schools too, and will be going to Pomona next year
