I am unsure about all the schools you’ve mentioned except NYU. NYU asks for about a 1800 or 1900, so it will be slightly hard for you unless you pull up those grades or have some special trait they are looking for. Good luck!

It’s difficult to chance you without knowing what you got in each section rather than the SAT as a whole. The only school I’m familiar with is Pace, and their students generally have a 490 - 590 in critical reading and a 500 - 590 in math according to College Board (their writing scores are unlisted). Even though your SAT score isn’t insanely high, it’s not too low either and Pace accepts 79% of applicants, so I’d say that your chances of acceptance are pretty high - of course, as I said before, I don’t know your scores on the different sections of the SAT. Good luck! My good friend goes to Pace and absolutely loves it.

UCLA is unlikely. What’s your GPA?

UCLA and NYU and maybe a few others will expect you to pay all costs. Is that ok?

well my GPA is complicated because I was in a school in Europe most of my life, then i came to a boarding school in US in junior year so… I don’t know my GPA haha I’m guessing it’s around 2.8. In the american high shcool, junior year was 2.9
it is unfair that those schools would look at GPA and SAT only since English is my third language and i’ve been through A LOT. I have a lot of experience, i traveled the world and have many international friends. I have good ext. act. too. It just seems unfair for schools to just look at GPA and say NO…

I think audition counts too. But in NYU its %50 academics %50 audition, and UCLA is %80 audition!!! but NYU is my first choice

These are US school that are taught in English, so it seems reasonable that that should be the standard for evaluation. A US citizen applying to a Turkish or French university would be expected to know those languages.

Schools look at your US GPA predominately. I have seen very talented, low stats kids get into Tisch. If you blow them away at the audition, it’s possible.

Nyu and UCLA are gonna be really tough with that score

I think your character traits are going to help you out, but that score will KILL you. Try to retake, because you need an 1800 or more to get in most good schools.
