<p>For most subjects you should take your subject test as soon as possible after you finish taking the relevant class (regardless of whether you’ve taken the SAT yet). The exception is math. I always recommend taking a math subject test the month after you take the SAT. All the math preparation you are doing for the SAT will help you with the math subject test. You can spend the extra month going over the topics that are on the subject test, but not the regular SAT.</p>
<p>For Math2, you better wait till you are in pre-calc. For other subject tests, you better take them in June right after the corresponding AP classes if they are relevant. For economic consideration, take the Math2 with other subject tests together. you don’t need to take SAT1 at all if you take ACT. Some schools may still require or recommend SAT2 even if you take ACT though.</p>
