@dreamteam12 @awesomepolyglot @nicknick567 @catsarecute32 I’ve learned many new things today haha but none confound me more than the fact that a human (myself) can function on less than 3 hours of sleep just fine
Hahaha Honestly! I am running on 2 hours of sleep and A LOT OF COFFEE …not a good match
Can someone please explain to me what the rate of photosynthesis vs wavelength graph was about ? If anyone remembers
there was like 1 milimeter of red soil over white soil…
oh yeah what was the one on the sage bush and the trees thing? why were there more trees at a low elevation then sage bush?
Could the rate of photosynthesis could also be measured by the rate of how much Oxygen was released ? It seemed to make the most sense
@dreamteam12 yes that was the answer
@catsarecute32 sagebushes occupy a narrow niche?
@thetex yeah thats what i said too, it was the only one that made sense
@thetex
I thought the trees were at a lower elevation because the red soils were also at a lower elevation
Does anyone here remember the answers for questions 4 and 5 about the different organisms
@thetex Ok Thank you !
Also for the sage bushes, Couldn’t it be because of the Higher Elevation --> Since Sage bushes prefers drier areas to grow and with increasing elevation, the air would lack more and more moisture, affecting plant growth.
Because wasn’t the diagram showcasing how the pine trees were growing at lower elevations while the sage bushes were growing at higher elevations idk tho
@dreamteam12 couldn’t that explanation be considered a narrow niche though? i mean theres only specific food and stuff available in those elvations
unless if i am sounding really stupid right now
I thought it was about the soils. Ya know, red and gray. (it was in the figure)
@cameronmatot which organisms were 4 and 5
Haha, No not at all, it’s a logical explanation. I hate this about the test : you get it down to 2 answers and they basically have the same exact explanation smh
Am I the only person who noticed the soils? Red and gray? And that the trees were only growing in red soils?
are there different versions?
@nicknick567 i dont actually know if the soil was super important, wouldnt that still be related to a niche anyways?
god i just want scores to come out im already super anxious lol
Red soil= oxygen rich vs Grey soil= oxygen poor, which would explain why the sage bushes were distributed on the left side of the diagram (mountain), then the Pine Trees in the middle, and then more sage bushes on the right side of the mountain (diagram). AHUUUGHhhh I don’t know
