I hope -3 is an 800. Right now I know for sure I missed 2.
Even then, I probably made stupid mistakes that I didn’t catch. I’ll probably get a 780/790.
I know that’s really good but I had a personal goal of getting an 800. RIP
For the people that don’t have the last 2 official tests that the CB released here are the curves for 800:
test one
for E 80-77 800
for M 80-78 800
test two
for E 80-76 800
for M 80-78 800
I always thought bio M was the more lenient one…
Yeah, i agree with @GeometryForLife
You guys might agree or disagree but it is irrelevant. Those are the curves directly from the College Board. The curves go with the last two released official tests. They might or might not correspond to Saturday’s administered tests and you have no way of knowing it before the results are released (and even then it would be speculation). The test originally released in the big book of subject tests had a curve with the same range of 800 for both M and E (80-77) but then the curve for M was more lenient. That is not true for the last two released tests. As far as I am concern the M might be easier or harder depending on the administered test.
How do you know how many you got wrong
Was petri dish 4 or 1 the control dish? I put 4, some ppl put 4, others put 1. 4 was without E. Coli, 1 was without antibiotic
If i remember correctly it asked for the control dish that displayed the effects of the antibiotic
wouldnt that be the dish with E.Coli and the antibiotic? dish 2
Were there several different versions of the Bio M?
@h0kulani I think there were entirely different tests in general. My friend who took the test on the same day but at a different testing center got a completely test than anyone else on here including myself.
I dont think it specifically asked for ones that showed the effect of the antibiotic, dont remember exactly. THink it was asking about an experiment where you measure the effect of the antibiotic.
From the reasoning i remember, i said one because, you’re measuring the effect of the antibiotic, so you’re control has to be the dish without antibiotic so you can measure the different effects that different versions of the antibiotic has (i think i really dont remember,i just know i put dish ONE)
you cant really have a dish without the organism, that doesnt really serve a purpose in any experiment…
@GeometryForLife Yeah, most ppl are saying it’s 1, thanks for your explanation!
Np, glad i can help!
Now im just waiting to bang my head against the wall when i get a 790 !
missed 3 questions -_-
@GeometryForLife I am in the same exact situation. We can bang our heads against the wall together
I took the test last month as well as taking it this time, since I took a prep class that required us to try it once in May as “practice” before taking it for real in June. The consensus amongst my class was that May was easier, though I felt that I honestly did better on the comparatively more difficult June test than the May one. Anyway, as you guys probably know, scores came out today. I got a 770, which I kind of expected – I knew that I got 5-6 wrong (no blanks) and the curve was going to be harsh because of the lower difficulty of the test. Hopefully I did better in June, though.
What are the answers of the 2 pedigree questions in the M section. Question talk about a probability or fraction I don’t remember exactly, and the second talk about individual; I got confused in two answers B) the individual is Homozygous Dominant. E) The individual is Homozygous Dominant or Heterozygous. Which of these two answers will be right? Biology SAT June 2017
@Mariameltahan It’s been 2 weeks, but I put 1/4 as the probability and put the individual is Homozygous Dominant or Heterozygous
bruh all these kids are stupid. I still remember that question now; it was definitely about the soils, as they were a huge part of the question; all the other stuff about environmental factors and oxygen concentration is exterior info not in the graph. @nicknick567
Thanks @mocktrialer5 :))
scores come out in 7 days and im so scared i honestly think i got like a 680 or worse
