SAT 2 Chem Discussion May 2 2009

Oh yeah, you’re right. Sorry, I’m getting my organic chemistry confused.

CH3COOH can’t decompose into CO2 and O2. Organic compounds never decompose into O2.

Oh yeah, I meant CO2 + H2O. It was a combustion.

Zn + Cu was redox

ch333something choice a
Caco3 + Hcl it was the exact equation i remmber now i picked . got lucky since it actually proudeces co2 gas and i thought it produced h2 gas oh well lucky guess
baso4 something for choice a
cu zn for oxidanton
amonnia for compelex ion last choice i thnk

yay i guessed it right i think i just got confused lol

the collegboard test actually had a bad curve because normally 800 is 80.
i have the 1998 edition of collegeboard the previous edtion collegeboard book and it was 78 for an 800 and it was still easier than our test
the curve will probably be around 76-77 for an 800
66-67 for 750 57-58 for 700

haha, you guys need to stop freaking out about this. they’re not going to give everyone bad scores; it doesn’t work like that. and there’s always the option of score choice. Besides, since most people here are probably taking some other subject tests, sign up for that other subject test in june, and if your chem score isn’t what you hoped it’d be, just take it as well in june and you’ll be billed for it afterwards.

random747, that’s what i’m doing
but some colleges (like yale, and princeton hasnt decided yet) refuse score choice
and i know you can try to fool them, but i’d rather not take my chances.
go integrity!~

how do u fool the colleges??

…By using score choice?

scores are out!

POST!

My bro got a 770

post score on another thread
"<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/717615-post-your-may-2nd-sat-ii-scores.html">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/sat-subject-tests-preparation/717615-post-your-may-2nd-sat-ii-scores.html</a>"</p>

this test had a huge curve

I got -6 for sure, probably -7, and ended up with a 790.

ya the curve was pretty big
i know for sure that i got 4 wrong and ommited 1
and i got an 800

woot 800 w/ -4
