Did anyone else feel like the T/F section this time around was MUCH easier?
@basedchem volumetric flask was what I answered and yes, I do have lab experience but perhaps not as extensive as yours.
What were the choices for the dilution of an acid? I thought it was burette, volumetric flask, graduated cylinder and what else? Didn’t seem like there was much option
@blu5959 there was a separation funnel, and one more thing, can’t remember.
@basedchem I went through them pretty quickly so I think it should be easier than usual.
What did everyone put for that question regarding a substance, when dissolved in water yields a neutral solution? For the T/F section, the question regarding melting point of Hydrogen and Sodium the answer was T T right?
KCl , because it yields a strong acid and a strong base
Nope TF
@guy6127 what was the second part of that question regarding melting point of sodium? Wasn’t it something like: sodium has a higher melting point than hydrogen?
@blu5959 No, it was TT, just not CE.
@basedchem I do have lab experience but apparently not that great lol and @blu5959 im pretty sure one of the choices was was a pipette
Hi all,
I just sat the SAT Chemistry exam in Australia, and I found it to be extremely difficult relative to the practice exam issued by the Collegeboard in the official guide. As a result I think I missed more questions than 5, the number that I missed in the official practice exam (this gave me a score of 780). How did you all find the exam? Was it more difficult than usual or did I just underestimate the test?
@mihirt19 Please send them!
@blu5959 Forgot the question my bad
I put TT becuse Na’s boiling point is higher than H
