SAT 2 Chemistry required for programs?

So I was wondering if anyone knew which programs required you to take the SAT 2's in chemistry to apply. My school didn't offer AP Chemistry so is it possible to do well on the SAT 2's without taking the AP class? The only chemistry background I have is one year of freshmen chemistry.

I am not sure about requirements for schools, but I got a 760 on SAT II Chem by just reading a prep book and taking sophomore chem

I know that both Northwestern HPME and Boston University require SAT IIs in Chemistry and Math II. And if you buy a review book (like Princeton or Barrons) you should be fine

I don’t think so, but take it anyway. Loser. Forgive me, tough love.

D’s school did not offer AP Chem either. She took SAT II in Chem. although combined programs that she applied did not require it. She did well. Gen. Chem. is one of the easier classes in college anyway. Just take it, study before you do.
