Hi, I'm in AP chem and I think I will probably get a 4-5 on the AP test (my teacher has a 75% passing rate). Do you think I would do well on the Chem subject test? Is it harder than the AP test?

The SAT II chem is much easier than the AP. If you are well prepared for the AP, the SAT II will seem like a piece of cake. Just make sure you take a practice test or two to familiarize yourself with the format.

Just make sure you know your "colors" of transition metals in solution and flame tests for Group IA and IIA elements. I only knew a few, which hurt me in a question or two (although I shouldn't be complaining lol)

Otherwise, chemical principles are the only things tested on this exam. There isn't a lot of math involved...if you took the USNCO local exam this test should be a breeze.
