Hi I was just wondering how one would go about studying for the Chinese Sat Subject test if he or she isn't a native spearker/reader. Collegeboard only released one practice test on this subject and it alone is not enough to study from. Also when I search on amazon there is only 1 book on this topic and its not even relevant to the actual test.

In all honesty, if you feel as if you need to significantly study for the SAT 2 Chinese, taking it is not that great of an idea. Relative to those who take the test, it is considered to be the easiest subject test; I think an 800 was in the 60th percentile (as opposed to being in the 99th or 100th for most other tests). You taking the test won’t be looked at as much more than filling a requirement.

SAT subject tests in foreign languages are different for everyone. A native person from France that takes the subject test and gets a 800 versus a kid that took one year in high school and got an 800 are completely different.

They look at the score (admittedly, some scores look better than others), not the percentile.

Why do you think some Carnegie Mellon takes math 2 and math 1 into equal consideration even though one is 90th percentile and one is 99th percentile?
