hey everybody.. im plannin to go in for comp eng/comp science. im applyin to MIT, STANFORD,HARVARD,UC BERKLEY,CMU,CALTECH etc.
and all their sites show only two sat 2's as their requiremtns... however i hav heard that 3 are preferred? wud like more info on this?
secondly, ive decided to giv MATHS IIC AND CHEM.. I DONT WANNA GIVE PHYSICS AND I DROPPED BIO 2 YEARS BAK. SO THE ONLY OPTION LEFT AS MY 3RD SUBJECTS IS LIT.. BUT I HEARD THAT THE CURVE IS REALLY TOUGH... ANY THOUGHTS??

I don't know about the others, but Harvard requires three SAT II's, not two.

I took MAth IIC, Chem and Lit....I thought Lit was easy, I didn't study and I got done in about twenty minutes and I got a 780...and I'm most DEFINITELY NOT an english person. I mean, that's what I did as far as SAT IIs (I also took US History) and I got into MIT.

But Although I had 4...you only need three...one in math and one in a science and one in whatever you want.

The info is probably available on every college's website, I just went to MIT's and I saw it although I can't post the link because my computer is being dumb.

more cant hurt... Its simple, I took 5

you can also take language SAT2s and I think they exist for history as well, so, if you like any of those options better...
