SAT 2 Listening Test CD Players?

Hi,

I’m taking a SAT 2 language test in November. Does anyone have any recommendations for CD players?

I wish I had seen this earlier. DD was going to take the listening test today and forgot about the CD player. I didn’t know about that requirement until this a.m. when I was looking online to see how long the test would take. If only I had done that yesterday. Of course we don’t have one (we do have a boombox, but that isn’t allowed), and the one drugstore she and her dad stopped at on the way to the test didn’t have one either. And they only offer it once a year. What a bummer. Really frustrating.

P.S. Hope you did well. Hope not too many others made this mistake.

@mstee Thanks a lot. Hopefully I did alright. Some kids in my room forgot to bring one, and one kid said her parents could not afford one which was really sad.

Glad you did okay and were prepared!

I thought about kids that can’t afford one. How terrible!

And I don’t know anyone that has one anymore to borrow. We got rid of the couple we had at least five years ago. Seems like SAT could handle this better, come up with a better way to take this test to ensure that everyone could take it without having to buy a CD player.
