Let’s do this guys.
rip good luck all!
Hey quick question im taking physics / math and i only have one chance to take subject tests, tomorrow. So im thinking of randomly tacking on a third subject which will either be math lvl 1 or literature. Can anyone tell me if its a good idea to take literature? Tonight ill take the one in the cb book.
Can you probably awesome literature people tell me your history/experience with literature so i can know what type of skills you need to take it. I hear its the hardest subject test there is.
In my school we have the best ap lit teacher in the area and ive been in the honors&ap lit/english program for 4 years with about 97% in the class. On the first ap multiple choice practice test i got 70% ://??? Any ideas ? Other people’s history in lit ???
@kentonpalmer It’s said to be the hardest subject test because it tests skill as opposed to knowledge(except a couple of terms). Skill can be developed with time. But since you don’t have time right now, I would only recommend lit if you’re naturally good at it.
Fml that’s all I can really say about this test this morning :’(
I didn’t find it to be that bad, but then again I never took a practice test and checked my answers so maybe I did terribly and just don’t know it.
I found it more difficult than usual and I’ve been doing well on the practice tests. The passages were longer than usual and the answer choices had some terms I didn’t know so I just guessed. I almost ran out of time. Hopefully the curve will be generous.
do you guys think this test was particularly harder than usual? the passages were longer, i agree, and there were some confusing questions…
does anyone remember the name of the poem about the king contemplating the rebellion
has anyone taken this exam before? How does it compare?
I didn’t take any practice test, so I didn’t really know what to expect, but I didn’t think it was that bad… Anyone else kind of feel like they were guessing on a lot of the questions though? Also, was the answer epigram or apostrophe?
apostrophe!
I thought it was easier than Math II tbh lol I think I spent all my energy on lit and just got burned out for Math II
it’s from shakespeare’s richard II
Anyone know what “my heart was gone out of my keepin’” meant?
I said it was preciously guarded. As in she loved another before she met Nathan.
I put out of her control because she seemed to want to love Nathan but simply couldn’t. However the argument for preciously guarded is a legitimate one as well
can anybody remember the other poems except snow-storm? THANKS !
I also said that it put her heart out of her control but idk.
by out of control are you guys talking about the answer choice “unchangeable and out of control”?
@aladdin9 there’s a poem that starts like “care-charmer sleep…” by Samuel Daniels.
