Hi.. I'm planning on taking the SAT 2 Lit. test in November. Anyone who took them know how hard it is and how many you can get wrong & still get 800??

According to the scale in the Kaplan book, you can get like 4 or 5 wrong to get an 800.

I didn't think it was hard at all, but I appear to be in the minority.

Okay thanks you guys... I bought the Kaplan book to study~ I really like lit. so i'm gonna cross my fingers and hope for the best!

I know that understanding different literary terms is really key, from what friends have told me. There's a list here of ones to get familiar with: http://www.livejournal.com/community/sat_help/3271.html

I thought it was fairly difficult, but I scored pretty well annyway (770). If you've got a strong background in prose and poetry analysis and you review your terms, you should be fine.

It was really easy there were ZERO questions on the test about definitions (male vs. female rhyme, obscure types of poetry etc). There was only ONE question about meter. I flipped through the Barrons book the night before and got an 800 on a test that resembled a CR test

i didn't study and got a 760 which is ok for taking it cold turkey. it's mostly dependent on the test itself.
