SAT 2 Math 2 --- curves and scoring

hey all

so I've got some questions:

(1) What exactly is the curve (ish... I know it changes from test to test) for the SAT 2 math 2? I've been reading through lots of posts and what I've been seeing is:

Omit 6 (miss 0) = 800
or
Miss 4 (omit 0) = 800.

Can anyone confirm this?

(2) On CollegeBoard's website it says:

Each WRONG answer for a
· 5-choice question: subtract (-) 1/4 of a point
· 4-choice question :subtract (-) 1/3 of a point
· 3-choice question: subtract (-) 1/2 of a point

Since when has there been a 3 choice question? Am I just blind?

(3) Do the tests round up or down? Say you get a raw score of like a 37.5; does that round to a 37 or a 38?

Thanks in advance!!

1)
The general curve for math level 2 (obviously it varies slightly between tests depending on the difficulty) is a raw score of 44 or above = 800. Every point of raw score lower is -10 points. So 43=790, 42=780, etc. This pattern continues all the way till the 580 area.

Thus, omit 6 = 800
Miss 5 (not 4) = 800

2)
Who cares..? All the tests i have encountered are 5 choice tests.

3)
I'm guessing they round up. All the books say to simply "round" the number. Since they don't give further guidelines, and, traditionally, .5 rounds up to the next number, I'd guess they round up.

the forumla is 800-10(44-X); x is your raw score. if your raw score is > 44, you got an 800

some language SAT subject tests only have 3 answer choices.

.25 -> .49 rounds down. .50->.99 rounds up.
