**SAT 2 Math II Discussion Thread December 2015**

I don’t think there’s one yet.

Anyways, only a little more than a month left. I haven’t started studying LOL. How’s everyone doing?

I got 790 on my math 2 last time. I want an 800.

@ddouser you’re crazy :)) haha 10 points is not a big deal. I got the same score

It probably isn’t. But I want at least one 800. I have always been one point off from perfect in math from SAT to PSAT

How much harder is Barron’s? I just scored a 650 :-S

I completely forgot everything from Pre-Calc lol, I’m in multi-variable calc right now

From what I read on the November thread, Barrons is easy compared to the real test. The real test kind of favored those who had lab experience. Lol i’m international; we don’t have physics lab class. Does anyone here know physics books to read other than SAT prep books?

@deeeznuts it’s really harder!

I constantly scored around 730-750 on Barron’s but the real test was totally different. It didn’t ask for much precalc. The most questions required a totally different approach of thinking and solving them. Really annoyed me because I’ve totally overprepared and don’t even know if it was worth it…
(Took the test 2 days ago btw)

Thanks @nadinem123 any suggestions for books/studying?

@deeeznuts sparknotes’ theory and review questions were the most accurate ones…

Wow ok, thanks! @nadinem123

@deeznuts I know it’s kinda hard to believe haha

Another one onboard!

Just signed up for the Biology E and Math II. I’m thinking about throwing in Literature or World History, but I’m not too sure yet. It’s hard to pick a poison.l
Literature and its archaic English… World History and its demands that you know how successful was Winston Churchill’s mother’s cousin’s cricket career.

Do internationals and US students written the same test?

I signed up for this test too

I took this on June but cancelled my score because I felt insecure of getting a 800 lol (i omitted the first question! like wtf!)

I just took a barron’s test and got 760, 800
John Chung: 800
How likely is it for me to get a 800 on the real thing?
People said the real test is no longer that much easier than barron’s… so I’m kind of worried. I want a 800.

@Livingteen1209 Yes, both US and international students write the same test.
@sdw8253 I think you’re pretty likely to get an 800 with a little more work. I haven’t attempted any of the Barrons tests yet but I hear they’re rather difficult.
I’ll have a more concrete opinion once I have.
Say, has anyone tried the Rusen Meylani tests?

How good is Chung’s?

@deeznuts His 59 tips are golden. Get them if you haven’t already. His practice tests are way harder than the actual thing tho.

@sdw8253 Barrons is much harder than the real thing

@sdw8253 Thanks

@collegeguy123456 how much harder? 50 points easier compared to real test?

@deeznuts I took the actual exam in June so I can kind of tell you how harder it is.

To be honest, I think you still need to score 750+ to get a 800 on the real thing. It is definitely harder but not THAT MUCH harder.
