Wait I got 1/8 for the last one???
Don’t worry, I was able to solve all of them using ti-89 without any extra hand work. Trig questions weren’t so difficult
Did you guys -1 for the determinant?
My friends are keep telling me that international students have a different version. Did you guys have the question where you find the area of a triangle with length 4,5 and a given angle?
i got -6
Are you sure it was -6 @rogerfedererfan1 ?
international and US are all the same always
yeah did u put february and august?
What did you guys get for the standard deviation question?
I got 0 for both the standard deviation and the determinant questions.
did u get pi/2+theta
@rogerfedererfan1 Nope, pi - theta
I got pi/2 + theta, 0 for st.dev and determinant question, and 7.7 for triangle area question
And I got February and August. What did you guys get for the line intersects plane question?
sin (pi/2 + theta) does not equal sin theta. Cos (pi/2 + theta) does not equal -cos (theta) either. How can it be pi/2 + theta? :-S
I got pi/2 plus theta
How is it feb and August ???
Can someone explain why it is pi/2 + theta?
@Gunblood222 If you differentiate the function, you’ll notice that the maxima occurs when cos t = 0. This occurs at t= pi/2 and t = 5pi/2.
pi/2 = 1.57 - February
5pi/2 = 7.85 - August
So wouldn’t the maximums be at January and July then? Like mid January and towards the end of July?
@pursuingcollege
Jan: 0-1
Feb: 1-2
March: 2-3
And so on…
