Are the practice tests good, bad, too easy, too hard...?
:3

Compared to kaplan I felt that the sparknotes tests were much more complicated…or is it just me?

idk but i also want 2 knw the answer to this about sparknotes…

BUMP

me too… i have taking the first three of sparknotes and have received 770 790 780 respectively. I also have a ti89 which surprisingly helps me a lot on these tests. People say that they dont really help you.

Can anyone who has already taken the real test and sparknotes test confirm that sparknotes is harder?

Are you guys talking about sparknotes tests on their website or the ones in the sparknotes prep book for Math2?

tests on their website

^Which are the same thing, except 4 and 5 are not in the books.

I thought they were pretty hard… So far I’ve been around 670-710 on Barron’s, 660-700 on Sparknotes, and 800 (twice) on CB’s. However, others say that they’re pretty accurate, so I guess it just depends :)

I hope they are somewhat accurate, getting low 600s on barron’s and 700 on Sparknotes

Pretty much on the spot for me +/- 20.

i think it goes PR>Sparknotes>barrons in terms of difficulty

i just took a real math test from collegeboard and scored a 800 while on sparknotes i scored 790 780 on the first two tests so its pretty similar a little harder

No way, more like the opposite, Barrons> Spark> PR

------------------edit

imo when I took the SAT from the official College Board book, I found it significantly easier than the actual test. So I wouldn’t judge difficulty based on that necessarily Plus, they CB book gives a bit too lenient curve than was actually on the test. I’m speaking from my actual testing experiences. But my judgments on the practice CB test are subjective I suppose.

But yea, I’m going to have to agree with Significa on this. Barrons is always the hardest. And although this is a bit late. If you want an extra extra challenge for Math IIC try RUSH by Melani. Now those tests are for the insane who reallly want a 800.

Maybe those were meant to be arrows instead of greater than signs.
