**SAT 2 Physics Discussion Thread Oct 2016**

800!
Pretty dope considering the fact that I started studying the day before the test

800 here too for my DS - done with testing!! This was a challenge bc half the material was not covered in AP Physics 1. Congrats to all here who are happy with their scores. =D>

790! Congrats to everyone!

770! Pretty good considering just a few months ago I got a C in my physics class and a 2 on the AP test. Shows that if you work hard, you can achieve anything :). Good luck to everyone else!

Good for you @JuicyMango !!! Hard work can pay off!

Starting with basic knowledge of mechanics ten days prior to test, here, in Kyrgyzstan, I didn’t take any physics classes. I wrote only one practice test from Princeton Review two days before the test, 680. I was expecting maximum 700. So happy! Got 740.

770!! Congratz everyone!!

Just an observation – after having studied for this test using Princeton Review for three weeks, I am finding AP Physics INCREDIBLY easy, while my classmates are struggling (we all took honors last year). Just brushing over the topics before you are taught them in class can do amazing things!

Congrats to everyone on this thread on your awesome scores! I’m sure you will all end up at wonderful places!

can you guys let me know the approximate percentages of question types? i.e. 50% mechanics questions, 30% electricity etc. i think i’m gonna take it in the spring but i have a LOT of studying to do, since my physics class didn’t cover anything but mechanics. would be helpful to know which topics appear more often that i need to study more.

Hey could anyone who studied from Barron’s compare their practise test scores with their actual score? Also, how did you find the SAT test compared to the material in Barron’s? Is it a good idea to study from majorly Barron’s?

@InfiniteLibrary I got 700-740 on Barron’s tests. My score on the real test was a 770. Barron’s tests were good but not too accurate, i warn you. The real thing was easier. Try studying from PR. The tests are better and the material covers more topics.

@seyll00 Thanks for the reply! I studied omly from Barron’s and got 780-800 in the practise tests, but got only 740 in the real thing. I really need an 800 and my last chance is in Jan. Is PR enough to get an 800?
