Sat 2 Question

I previously took two SAT subject tests and received scores of 670 (USH) and 710 (LIT), but i recently took a third, because Georgetown "strongly recommends" three tests, and received a 600 (WH). Does it make sense to send all three even though 600 is poor, or should I just send the two higher scores?

Hi Ahab, I am a current undergraduate student. Like you, i had some pretty impressive sat II scores (780 in MBio and 710 in USHist) and a pretty low score (580 Lit). It is important to realize that Gtown REQUIRES that you send every single score form every single test you have taken. Now don’t freak out, I promise the admission committee understands that not every test is your best. My advice is to retake it and try to get at least 2 700 or above test scores. I know a lot of people have told me “georgetown will never know if you omit scores,” but there have been cases of people being rescinded admission due to lies or withholding information. I think your best bet is to own up to your score, and try again. I hope this helps!!

I believe Georgetown “requires” that you report all scored, but I only took 2 SAT II’s and got in EA. I don’t really know the significance of anything in there, but know that it is possible.
