SAT 2 Subject test for chemistry

Hi, I'm a junior this year taking AP Chemistry.

So my test dates are:

March-ish: Mock Exam
May 6: AP Chemistry Exam
MAY 30: Chemistry semester exam (not sure yet)

So would it be better to take the SAT 2 subject test for chemistry on May 4th or June 1st?

Thank you :)

I’m taking it June 1st :D

I’d take it May 4th. That’s when I took it while taking AP chem and it worked out really well!

Dont forget to take a look at barrons an pr.I got 800 btw

It’s really just a matter of personal preference - do you want a couple of days in between the SAT Subject Test and another one of your tests - or do you want them close together?

thank you for the replies!

I think I’ll take the one in May since I might take the SAT reasoning in June. Will Barron’s and all the topics covered in AP Chem be enough??

Best book i used was barrons, but i think i solved nearly all the practice tests available not just barrons.Solve as much as you can.The day before test i looked at all practice tests again ,especially reviewed my wrong questions.Last day review earned me like 2 or 3 questions in real test.
Hope you will get what you want.

ONE BOOK IS NEVER ENOUGH.ALWAYS TAKE A LOOK AT OTHERS.
AND I NEED TO USE CAPITAL LETTERS :D

THANK YOU! :D

one more question,
will studying for AP Chem be enough to take the subject test for chemistry?

Got an 800 on Chem a while ago… best thing I remember helping was the usnco (chem olympiad). I’d say if you make it to the second round you pretty much have a guaranteed 800.
