Im studying for SAT 2 in Math 2 and Bio, it seems as though the new edition has some problems, like a plus being a minus, and not writing out the quadratic equation fully meaning no plus minus sign. Can i use an old edition Barron's 10th instead to study? Has the SAT 2 changed at all over the years? My mom's been going to her friends house and getting old SAT 2 books from early 2000's, can I use those books for exam questions or are they obsolete?

SAT II Math Level 2 subject test content hasn’t changed a whole lot in the last decade or so and in my opinion you should be fine with the older books. Just keep in mind that Barron is significantly harder than the actual exam. The best I would say is to get the official SAT Study guide for subject tests: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0874477727/st06202-20

It has two official tests, use them to get a sense of the style and difficulty of the exam. I would even recommend doing the Level 1 tests because many of the questions there are relevant to Level 2 as well. The problem is that there aren’t a lot of official SAT subject tests.
