THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

i've taken it. i did horribly. i thought i would have gotten 750+, because i got a 5 on the AP. The best advice I can give you is to not rely on your prior knowledge of world history, and actually study the stuff. the curve is also generous :D

i took it, got an 800. i hadnt actually taken any world history courses. jsut AP european history. it was pretty easy

i've looked at it and some of the questions are easy. take it w/o studying because you should do well if you are into history.

hmm i was in euro...but i dont know if i can recall that information anymore lol...

but are there any books u would recommend?

barron's sat II world history & the 22 real SAT IIs published by the College Board

thanks

anyone else?

I got 730. Here's a tip: DON'T buy Kaplans, it's a piece of crap. The test in 22 Reals was a good mirror of the actual test (I got 720 on that about a week before the test). Buy some kind of practice book- I don't know, maybe Barrons- and make sure you know all the topics at least at a basic level. Also, if you're good at making smart guesses, that's huge on this test. There are a lot of questions you may not know, but making smart guesses can save you lots of points.

I took it in 9th grade and used Kaplan. I got a 730 on both of the Kaplan pratice tests, and the real thing.

Got a 4 on the AP and a 640 on the test :(
Just study and don't assume that just because you studied for the AP test, you will do fine on the SAT II. I made that mistake and I should've studied for the SAT II from another prep book because it is a little different than the AP.

The test my son took in June had many more questions on Africa than the one in the Real SAT II's. If you are a good visual learner, you could probably pick up a lot of points on the art history questions. Good luck.

well fabulous

thanks guys :)

today i am going to borders to buy a book...
but with so many conflicting opinions who KNOWS which one!!

Is the SATII history test dramatically different from the ap test?

No. Same stuff, a little more in depth. A LITTLE. =) Easy though. I guess on two and got a 760. I bet i got around 5x or so.
